The division is equally responsible for university teaching, which is provided by highly qualified instructors who pass on their knowledge of nuclear medicine including the latest scientific findings to students through lectures, interactive courses and in internships. Postgraduate training and professional development of trainees and others are also key concerns of the division.

Research-led teaching

We work to transfer state-of-the-art knowledge of nuclear medicine including enthusiasm and curiosity about a very broad range of disciplines and take care to show empathy when interacting with patients.

Research findings and knowledge obtained from the current guidelines in this specialty area are directly incorporated into teaching. This linkage of research and teaching results in content that is always up to date.

Postgraduate training

The wide range of professional development opportunities at the Medical University of Graz is directed at a variety of occupational groups in the fields of medicine, science and research, nursing and health services. Most of the professional development courses can be completed while the participant is regularly employed and provide him/her with a valuable additional qualification.
